RECEIVED GRAND PRIZE IN CREATIVE ECONOMY, THE PRIME MINISTER AWARD (FUTURE PART & SMALL AND MEDIUM B
The Ministry of Science, the ICT and the Future Planning and Small and Medium Business Administration held a “Super Star: Super Star V” exhibition on November 24 and selected the final 10 awards after eight months of a long journey.
“Super Start V: Super Start V” is the nation’s premier idea & start-up completion to support creative economic leaders who challenge creative thinking and support their growth.In addition, ‘Creative Idea Competition’ and ‘Korea star-up business league’ will be merged for the first time this year, and the awards will be given in connection with the Creative Economy Fair.
INGINE won a gold prize (Prime Minister Award) with 50 million won in prize money by proposing “Wave-power generator technology for island and coastal areas.”
INGINE’s technology involves the technique of converting both the upper and lower kinetic energy of waves simultaneously and converting them into electric energy at the same time.

AWARDED MINISTRY OF TRADE, INDUSTRY AND ENERGY MINISTER CITATION (CEO DANIEL SUNG) NOVEMBER 18, 2014
On November 18, Danile Sung, the CEO of INGINE, received a Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy minister citation at the 2014 Young Entrepreneur Award hosted by the Maegyeong Media Group and the Young Entrepreneurs Foundation in Seoul.
The award is for young South Korean entrepreneurs who are aspiring to lead the world market, contribute to the national economic development, and promote youth start-up vitalization.
This year’s award winners were 32 people. The award ceremony was held in the afternoon and was hosted by about 300 people, including youth startups and preliminary startups, which shared their success stories and celebrated the awards.
