INGINE has formed a business partnership with the Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy (MASEN) on wave-power generation.
Lee Sung-won, head of INGINE’s London office ― registered as INGINE Wave Energy Systems Ltd ― and his MASEN counterpart Mustapha Bakkoury struck the deal on Jan. 21 at the U.K.-Morocco Business Dialogue in London. Among nearly 200 companies invited, INGINE was the only eco-friendly power generation company that formally clinched a deal with MASEN during the event, which the U.K government hosted to bolster its economy and international trade before Brexit. INGINE believes the deal will help expand its wave-power generation business in Europe and Africa.
